7.3 Modbus

The I/O signals in [Modbus] page are used to monitor the I/O signal status of the Modbus server (or slave device) after the robot conducts Modbus communication with the external device. Each signal has a unique name that can be written in the program. See "5.3 Fieldbus" for the creation of Modbus units and signals.

  • Modbus type: Select the signal type in the drop-down list. The signal type includes digital I/O signal and register I/O signal.
